On Friday, June 7, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Trisakti University held an Open Doctoral Promotion Session in the field of Economics with a concentration in Accounting at Campus A, Hendriawan Sie Building (S), 8th floor. In this event, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Diah Dhyanasaridewi, S.E., M.Ak. was declared to have passed as a doctor with a “Very Satisfactory” predicate, becoming the 134th graduate of this doctoral program.

The dissertation titled “The Influence of Sustainability Innovation, Proactive Sustainability Strategies, and Digital Transformation on Corporate Sustainability Performance with Organizational Culture as a Moderating Variable“.

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM., CIRR., CMA, CPMA (Asia), with the promoter Prof. Dr. Etty Murwaningsari, Ak., MM., CA, and co-promoter Dr. Sekar Mayangsari, Ak., CA., CMA. The examination team consisted of Dr. Murtanto, Ak., M.Si., CA., CPIA., CCFA.; Dr. Regina J Jansen Arsjah, S.E., Ak., M.Si., C.F.A., C.A., CPIA; Dr. Amrie Firmansyah, S.E., M.M., M.Ak., M.A., M.E., M.H; and Prof. Dr. Istianingsih, SE., Ak., MM.

Novelty: This research adds the dimensions of stakeholder engagement strategies, governance and leadership, and communication strategies. The addition of these dimensions aims to enable organizations to proactively consider the needs of stakeholders, improve the quality of control and supervision, and facilitate more effective communication of sustainability information.

The research results show that sustainability innovation, proactive sustainability strategies, and digital transformation positively influence corporate sustainability performance. However, organizational culture did not succeed in moderating this relationship, indicating that external factors are more dominant in influencing corporate sustainability performance.

With this achievement, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Diah Dhyanasaridewi is expected to make significant contributions in the field of sustainability accounting and assist companies in improving their sustainability performance through the innovative strategies proposed in her research.
